Discover Kaur Wetlands

Located further up the river, driving through the North Bank Road to Georgetown on the other side of the River Gambia, you’ll find the Kaur Wetlands. This area is an excellent birding site, offering fantastic opportunities to view a variety of bird species.

Among the birds that can be spotted here are the Collared Pratincole, Egyptian Plover, Purple Swamphen, Allen’s Gallinule, Black Crowned Crane, and more.
